Job Description

 The student Worker/Lab Assistant assists the Nursing Lab Team and Nursing Faculty in the daily operations of the lab. You should be comfortable with a hospital like environment, handling manikin body parts, and handling fake bodily fluids. Essential duties/responsibilities: assist in restocking; cleaning and managing manikins; completes laundry and restock linen carts; assist with restocking of various carts: clean equipment per Nursing Lab policies; follows lab management safety policies on a quarterly basis; assist with lab and simulation set up and clean up. Knowledge skills and abilities: demonstrates professional behavior and positive attitude; professional interaction with Faculty and students while at work; possess good communication skills; both oral and written; knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office, word, excel, and outlook; comfortable asking questions and receiving feedback; display dependability and accountability for work environment. Physical Demands: manikin lifting and moving equipment; moving beds, gurneys and other large equipment.
