Position Summary
Assists the WMSE Underwriting Director in administration of underwriting clients, member benefits services, and data administration. Works collaboratively with the Underwriting Director on WMSE event planning and assists other WMSE staff as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Member Benefits Program Management
- Maintain and build WMSE Member Benefits Program with community partners
- Plan exclusive membership events and collaborate with WMSE development staff to plan large events
Client Management
- Administers data entry pertinent to WMSE Underwriting clients
- Helps create hit lists
- Makes cold calls following phone scripts created by WMSE Underwriting Director
Events Management
- Works with Underwriting Director on all events including:
- Community outreach and recruitment of event participants
- Coordinate event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations
- Administration of event data and inputs data into WMSE member database -Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Auction Solicitation
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Excellent computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office
- Exemplary communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to the mission and values of WMSE
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple duties without compromising quality
- Familiarity with Milwaukee philanthropy and an affinity for public radio a plus
