FIRST Ambassadors Program
FIRST Ambassadors Program
The FIRST Ambassadors program enables MSOE students who are FIRST Alumni to pursue paid mentorship opportunities at high need schools within the city of Milwaukee. Transportation is provided to all mentors.
How can I get a MSOE FIRST Ambassador to support my team?
FIRST Ambassadors are assigned annually to schools in central Milwaukee that qualify as high need based on their percent of economically disadvantaged students per the most recent Wisconsin DPI scorecard data. Teams are required to provide at least one full-time staff member or other adult employed with the host organization in order to receive Ambassador support.
If you have not previously had a FIRST Ambassador at your school, contact Andy Baisch, FIRST Programs Coordinator at MSOE to learn more about supporting or starting a FIRST team at your location with MSOE FIRST Ambassadors.
How can I become a FIRST Ambassador?
Use the form below to submit a notice of interest to our FIRST Programs Coordinator to learn more information on becoming an Ambassador. All Ambassadors are required to be current Milwaukee School of Engineering students, however, students planning to enroll in MSOE in the coming school year are welcome to submit a letter of interest.
