Explore STEM through MSOE’s Summer Programs
Dive into a cool summer of STEM with one of MSOE’s Summer Programs. High school students are encouraged to experience college and explore a variety of engineering disciplines, construction management, business, user experience or nursing during a week-long residential camp.
Women in Engineering
New this year, MSOE is offering a camp for young women. “Women in Engineering” gives girls entering 10th through 12th grades the opportunity to explore 10 different engineering disciplines. The academic activities will be taught by MSOE faculty with assistance from female engineering students. Girls will also take industry tours and see the role of engineering in the real world. Fun evening activities like comedy shows, rock climbing and tours of Milwaukee round out the program.
Focus on the Possibilities
For those who have a pretty good idea of what type of engineering they’re most interested in or want to hone in on business, user experience or nursing, the Focus on the Possibilities Summer Program is the best bet. Spend a week focusing on one of MSOE’s majors in engineering, business, nursing or user experience and spending time in labs, meeting with professors and interacting with students who have similar interests.
Discover the Possibilities
Choose from two different themes for the Discover Camps and learn about related fields of engineering “Build and Design” features architectural engineering and construction management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and industrial engineering. “Computing Systems” features computer engineering, computer science, software engineering ,electrical engineering and business information technology.
Explore the Possibilities
The broadest of all MSOE Summer Programs, Explore the Possibilities gives students the opportunity to rotate through half-day programs to learn about each of MSOE’s engineering and business majors.
