MSOE will hold its largest Career Fair at the end of September when more than 260 employers will visit campus to recruit MSOE students and alumni, all of whom are recognized as some of the nation’s top talent.

The two-day 2017 Career Fair gives employers the opportunity to meet students and hire them for internships and full-time positions. The fair will take place in the Kern Center from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, and from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29.

Premier sponsors of this year’s event include Accelogix, Actuant Corporation, Cleo, Convergint Technologies, Curt G. Joa Inc., Milwaukee Tool, Northwestern Mutual, Palermo’s, PEER Bearing Company, Penrod, Plexus Corporation, RCL Engineering Group, Rockwell Collins, Snap-on Inc. and Yaskawa America Inc.

“MSOE students are in demand, and employers are anxious to get on campus to recruit them,” said Dr. Mary Spencer, director of career services. “The talent pool shrinks as we approach the second half of the academic year, so employers start the recruitment process early. They continue to grow their talent by hiring interns and offering incentives to keep them on board full time after graduation.”
