Milwaukee School of Engineering will hold Fall Commencement on Saturday, Nov. 20 honoring undergraduate and graduate students in engineering majors, the Rader School of Business and the School of Nursing as they receive their bachelor’s or master’s degrees.    

The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. in the Kern Center, 1245 N. Broadway. Masks are required for all attendees. It will be broadcast live online as well.  

Dana A. Guthrie ’10 will deliver the keynote address to graduates at the ceremony. Guthrie is managing partner at Gateway Capital, a venture capital firm focused on Wisconsin-based, early-stage startups. Prior to her current role, Guthrie founded and managed Alchemy Angel Investors, an angel investment network. She founded Alchemy while being employed full-time at a Fortune 500 company and managing a multi-million dollar, global product offering.  

Guthrie is a two-time patent recipient, holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering, and an M.S. in Energy Engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago.
