MSOE nursing program ranks No. 1 in Wisconsin—again
Recent graduates of MSOE’s School of Nursing once again proved their nursing prowess with a 100% NCLEX pass rate—and they all passed the exam on their first attempt. MSOE also has been ranked No. 1 out of 32 schools in the state of Wisconsin by Mountain Measurement in the last two NCLEX Program Reports (October 2018–March 2019 and April 2018-October 2018). Mountain Measurement produces this national report with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).
MSOE’s nursing students learn how to provide care with confidence starting day one with direct admission to the nursing program. The curriculum integrates a strong technology base, a series of simulation exercises, interprofessional educational opportunities with the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a wide variety of clinical experiences (which are guaranteed to begin sophomore year) that prepare students to hit the ground running upon graduation.
In addition to a traditional B.S. in Nursing program, MSOE offers an Accelerated Second-Degree Track, designed for adults who already have a bachelor’s degree in another discipline and are looking to change careers.
In order to become a registered nurse in the United States, all nursing graduates must pass the NCLEX exam, and MSOE students get the education and experience they need to be successful.
