Kim Schultz has been named director of corporate and foundation relations at Milwaukee School of Engineering. In her role, Schultz is responsible for developing and managing a coordinated approach that fosters strategic alignment between MSOE and corporate and foundation partners. She will build awareness of the university’s strengths and assets, create and qualify engagement leads and identify strategic opportunities for mutually beneficial engagements with corporations and foundations.   

Since its founding in 1903, MSOE has actively engaged business and industry leaders and worked closely with corporate and non-profit foundations. These collaborative working relationships have continued to grow throughout MSOE’s history and provide faculty, staff and students with resources and opportunities to solve the complex technical challenges of today and tomorrow.  

Schultz comes to MSOE from the Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee, where she was executive director. Prior roles with HPGM include serving as the director of strategic partnerships and events, associate director of corporate events, and program manager. Schultz’ career has centered on engaging community partners, volunteers, businesses, philanthropic partners and educational institutions to support and advance the mission of non-profit organizations.  

Schultz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Wisconsin Humane Society; Public Relations Society of America, SE Wisconsin’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee; the Young Professionals Board of SHARP Literacy; and TEMPO Milwaukee’s Emerging Women Leaders group.
