MSOE President John Walz is taking steps to raise money for the American Cancer Society through the Fit2Be Cancer Free CEO Challenge. Fit2Be is a virtual challenge that promotes cancer prevention, empowers employees through healthy activity in the workplace and raises money for the American Cancer Society. Walz is joining CEOs across the country to compete to go the furthest distance during the 24-hour challenge on Thursday, April 27.

“The American Cancer Society is a tremendous organization that is doing much to support the fight against this terrible disease. I wanted to do my part to raise awareness for all their great work,” said Walz.

Walz will be seen walking across campus to get his steps in on April 27. He will end the day by taking a victory lap around the bases of the new Raiders Field with Roscoe and the softball team.
