ROAR is the required orientation for all incoming MSOE first-year students. It’s your first opportunity to build relationships, explore campus resources, and meet the people who will support you throughout your Raider journey.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Register for ROAR 

Choose your ROAR date by completing the registration form.  

When you register, you will:

1. Select a program date (listed in the registration form)
2. Share any dietary needs and disability accommodations
3. Include parent and guest information.

After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a follow-up email with detailed event information closer to your program date.  

2. Complete Your Admitted Student Next Steps

• Log in to your myMSOE Account & Email
• Upload your Raider ID Card Photo (Submission needs to be completed and photo must be approved if you’d like to receive your student ID at ROAR)
• Apply for housing through the Admitted Student Portal
• Complete ALEKS – Math Assessment for course placement
• Submit your final transcripts

3. Attend ROAR

During ROAR, you will:

• Connect with other incoming students through interactive sessions led by your orientation leader
• Learn what to expect academically and how to navigate your transition to college
• Explore campus resources and technology that support your success
• Take care of important next steps so you feel confident and prepared for the start of classes

Event Details

• Location: Kern Center, 1245 N Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202
• Time 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Parking: Parking will be available on campus. Check the campus map for exact locations. Please note, we cannot reimburse parking in other lots.

Students and guests will attend separate sessions throughout the day.
